Alison has working within the Financial Services Industry for over 25 years. She began her career as an Independent Mortgage Adviser working for a large estate agency chain in Scotland. After six successful years in this role, Alison changed the direction of her career and joined a National Independent Financial Advisory firm where she began providing holistic financial planning advice to clients throughout Scotland specialising in retirement and investment planning. Whilst working in this role, Alison met her husband Peter, a Londoner, which brought her to Hertfordshire.
Since moving to Hertfordshire, Alison has worked predominately in client-facing roles as; a Trust Consultant, a Wealth Manager and a Private Client Manager and has worked with some of the largest banking and financial advisory Institutions including: Barclays Private Banking, HSBC Private Banking and Lloyds Private Banking. Alison is a fully qualified financial adviser and is on the final stages of achieving Chartered status.
Alison has been the Practice Manager at IFA Financial Services (UK) Ltd since January 2016 and enjoys living in the local area. In her spare time she enjoys walking, eating out, taking trips away and spending time with family and friends.
